Blue ribbon pie party with a purpose.
This is a pop-up, free event but would love to help stock the Arlington Food Bank with your generous food donations.
Limited slots available to join the evening- We will need pie bakers, cobbler makers and mouths to eat the goodness. And of course food donations. They are ALWAYS excepting food love.
Saturday August 24th at 6:30 p.m.
You have a few weeks to brush up on your pie skills & master your favorite pie or cobbler to enter into FPK's competition for the blue ribbon pie winner. If you cannot make it but would like to bake something to enter, that's okay too.
Bring your baked pie, cobbler, donations for the food bank and be ready for dessert!

Comforts of Autumn- Soups & bread
$75 per adult
Two soups and a roasted butternut- herb infused bread with a little sweet, fall inspired dessert & coffee to finish our evening around the table.
Cool days & crisp nights will be here before we know it, and there is nothing more comforting then a pot of healthy soup using local summer grown root veggies, loads of herbs and homemade stock. You can make these soups on the weekend and eat off of them for the week. You'll want to double the bread- a loaf for eating straight out of the oven and one for the week with your soup. When you build flavor from the bottom of the pot, the flavors continue to transform, concentrating even further when you add then reduce aromatic liquids. Oh, the smell of garlic, onions, and veggies reducing slowly in the cast iron kettle....
Demo class, a little hands on and of course all the eating of the recipes we prepare, dessert included as we dine around the candle lit farm table where we will a raise our glass and our spoons to bowls full of goodness to welcome fall.
