Bread Flop 101
Of course it had to be the day that I make a meal of homemade soup, cookies and bread to deliver to a friend. The ONE day it's a dinner gift and it doesn't turn out.
After a few flops in the bread department, two times in less than 24 hours, I decided to take a break from baking bread. I literally had the bread ego popped and deflated.
I think it was good for me, plus I was eating it too much anyways...
A little cast iron quiche with grilled asparagus made me feel much better about my kitchen skills.
