For me, this is what it's all about here at FPK.... When I hear these words from our guests;
"This food is better than our favorite Thai restaurant"!!
I will never be a Tom Douglas, The Herb Farm or Mrs. Chinese take out.
I'm a mom of six sons, a wife to my best friend, with a love for Jesus, and a desire to create good food centered around the home kitchen, teaching what I've learned over the years to guests of all ages.
We practice and eat, read and learn, then practice some more. Some days are amazing in the kitchen and others are flops. I take the good with the bad and try again until I think I get it right. I have no ghost writers, gardeners or camera crew. I snap a picture when time allows. Sometimes with my phone others with my Canon.
My mom helps behind the scenes, nor could I do this without my husband's help, support and labor.
We prep, plan, shop, clean before and after. It is a labor of love with a desire for those who come through the doors of Flour Pot Kitchen to be inspired; leaving with great memories, fantastic homemade food and conversation with those you love having learned a few new things.
Inspired by the loves of my life. the hunger in my stomach and my SPONTANEOUS nature.
